This one-of-a-kind glass sculpture is part of the artist’s signature “Big-Eyed” series, inspired by the bold, curious fish that inhabit Lake Pend Oreille. The vibrant colors and soft gradients are created by hand-painting the fish with finely sifted and coarse glass powders, then kiln-firing the piece multiple times to build depth, detail, and luminosity.

 

The finished glass is paired with a custom welded steel frame designed to complement the fish and provide durability for indoor or outdoor display.

 

Comparable works in the series typically retail between $550 and $700. This piece is offered exclusively for the Festival of Trees silent auction in support of the Community Resource Envision Center, celebrating a night of stars, community, and generosity.
